Bristol AF Productions
Our very own Paul Holbrook writer/director has launched Bristol AF Productions with actor/writer Joe Sims and writer Amy Trevaskus. All proud Bristolians, their aim is to make crowd-pleasing TV comedy with the South West at its heart, utilising the best of the region's talent both in front of and behind the camera.
With a range of exciting projects already on their slate, we can't wait to see them flourish and give the Westcountry the voice and representation it deserves in TV comedy!

After two years traineeing in TV Drama, in 2023, I stepped up to load. Most recently having loaded the B-camera on CBBC's Malory Towers, and stepping-up to load A-camera on Netflix's Sex Education, I am a competent second assistant with a passion for the role and its responsibilities.
I also have 16mm loading experience and hope to work more with film in the future.
Established in 2009, Bristol Crew was created to fill a gap in the market between diary services and large crew databases.
Each member is hand-picked, interviewed and verified by site manager Sarah who has been in the industry for 25 years, so you can rest assured that all crew CVs are genuine and their attitude and professionalism is second to none.
Members are encouraged to share work, skills and participate in the mentoring of less experienced crew in their department. This means we're a strong and supportive team of freelancers with excellent connections and big ambitions to excel in our chosen fields.
Every crew profile has all the contact details you need to book directly.
For larger, bespoke teams of crew contact firstname.lastname@example.org for advice and recommendations.
How to join
Bristol Crew is a boutique database with limited space in each department. Membership is by invitation or recommendation only with application interviews taking place quarterly. There is currently a waiting list for both DOPs and Lighting Camera operators.
